The Knutzens are a Russian-American family that adopted two children from Russian orphanages. Because of Russian adoption law, only their Russian mother was allowed to complete the legal adoption process. Two Worlds documents their journey from their home in Moscow to the U.S. to finalise the children’s dual citizenships so that their father can become their legal guardian.
